Ryan R. Fuller
Interim Vice President and General Counsel
Ryan Fuller has served as the Interim Vice President and General Counsel for the University of Florida since September 2024, overseeing the legal affairs of the University and its affiliated entities. His duties include representing and advising the University on legal matters relating to governance, research, constitutional issues, athletics, international endeavors, litigation and governmental investigations.
Ryan has practiced law since 2003 and joined the General Counsel’s office in 2012, serving as senior counsel for labor and employment law. He moved into the role of Deputy General Counsel in 2018, working with units across the University enterprise on a variety of significant matters touching all areas of university operations.
Before joining the office of the General Counsel, Ryan practiced labor and employment law in the Jacksonville, Florida office of Akerman Senterfitt. Ryan received his bachelor’s degree with honors and his juris doctorate with high honors, both from the University of Florida.
