Olivia Z. Weisman

Olivia Z. Weisman specializes in labor and employment matters.  Olivia provides representation and legal advice on a broad range of employment policies; employee hiring and separation; assessing, investigating and responding to employee discrimination claims; drafting and reviewing agreements relating to employees; training on legal issues and employment policies; negotiating collective bargaining agreements; addressing grievances; general compliance with state, federal and local employment laws and litigation of employment related claims.

Before joining the Office of the General Counsel, Olivia practiced labor and employment law in the Tampa, Florida office of Phelps Dunbar LLP and clerked for the Honorable Julie S. Sneed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  Olivia earned her Juris Doctor degree with High Honors from the University of Florida, where she served as Senior Research Editor for the Florida Law Review.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University.
