Kacy is a transactional attorney specializing in real estate and construction law. She represents the University of Florida and its affiliated entities in various matters related to real property, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and licensing transactions, development, and financing. She also advises on operational matters, such as management of university property, facilities, and construction projects, as well as on regulatory matters, such as development of university policies.
Before joining the University of Florida, Kacy was a Managing Associate at Frost Brown Todd LLP in Nashville, Tennessee, where she handled both transactional and litigation matters related to real estate development, land use, zoning, and commercial financing. She also represented corporate clients in such matters as early-stage capital formation and exempt securities offerings. She earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.S. in business administration from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude.
