Julie M. Zolty

Associate Counsel

Julie serves as Associate University Counsel on labor and employment matters. This includes issues relating to workplace investigations, employee relations, collective bargaining, discrimination and harassment, First Amendment, non-compete and restrictive covenants, and wage and hour disputes. In this role, Julie advises University stakeholders and human resources to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, and University policies. 

Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Julie was an attorney at GrayRobinson, P.A. in Orlando, Florida, where she specialized in labor and employment and higher education. 

Julie received her B.A. in Legal Studies with honors from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. with honors from University of Florida, where she was a member of University of Florida Law Review. She is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the federal district courts of Florida.
